Congratulations to Jess Glynne, who not only tops this weekâs Official Singles Chart, but enters the Official Charts history books!
Donât Be So Hard On Yourself leaps a massive 77 places to Number 1 to give Jess her fifth Number 1 single; matching Cheryl Fernandez-Versiniâs record for the most chart-toppers for a British solo female on the Official Singles Chart.
The singer has also achieved the feat quickly; in just 18 months, compared to five years for Cheryl. Jess' previous chart leaders are Rather Be (with Clean Bandit in Feb 2014), My Love (with Route 94 in March 2014), Hold My Hand (April 2015) and Not Letting Go (with Tinie Tempah in July 2015). Click here to view her full Official Chart history.
âI canât even begin to explain how awesome it feels to have Donât Be So Hard On Yourself go to Number 1!" Jess told us.
"The past few months have been one long, emotional journey so to come back to so much love and support is insanely amazing. I just want to say a massive THANK YOU. This is the best feeling ever!"

Following her sad passing earlier this month, Cilla Blackâs The Very Best Of has topped this weekâs Official Albums Chart.
The Very Best Of first re-entered the Top 40 two weeks ago as fans began to pay tribute to showbiz legend who passed away on August 1; and following the starâs funeral yesterday, has climbed a further seven places this week to land the top spot. The accolade marks both a new peak for The Very Best Of, as well as Cillaâs first ever Official Albums Chart Number 1.
âThis Number 1 is a reflection of the special place Cilla Black occupied in the hearts of the British public and a fitting tribute to an icon who shaped popular music and entertainment," Dan Chalmers, President, Rhino, East West & ADA, UK told OfficialCharts.com, "Cilla had an extraordinary and unforgettable voice and her timeless music will inspire fans and musicians for generations to come.â
The Very Best Of was first released in 1983, before being expanded and re-released in 2013 to include fan favourites and dance remixes of Cilla classics.
The compilation includes Official Singles Chart Number 1s Anyone Who Had A Heart (the biggest selling single of the â60s by a female artist) and Youâre My World, as well as Top 10 hits Youâve Lost That Lovinâ Feelinâ, Step Inside Love and Loveâs Just A Broken Heart and dance remixes of Imagine and Faded Images.
Cilla boasts an impressive Official Chart history, with a total of six Top 40 albums, and 11 Top 10 singles - the second highest number for any British Female, only trailing Shirley Bassey and Petula Clark, who both have 12.

Delta Goodrem spreads her âWingsâ and nests atop of the ARIA Singles chart for a second week, plus the track picks up a Gold sales certification too.
âWingsâ now becomes Deltaâs longest run at the top since October 2004âs âOut of the Blueâ spent three weeks at No.1 (which is also the single with the longest run at No.1 for her), whilst âWingsâ is now tied with her tracks âLost Without Youâ (March 2003) and âInnocent Eyesâ (June 2003) which also notched up two weeks apiece at No.1.
After three weeks at No.7, Calvin Harris and Disciples leap up five places to land at a new peak of No.2, becoming his third song to reach this high, as so far none of his tracks have reached the top here (yet). This song now ties with âSweet Nothingâ with Florence Welch (peaked upon debut, late October 2012 for two weeks) and âWe Found Loveâ with Rihanna (peaked mid-October 2011 for five weeks), so with his previous #2âs spending multiple weeks there, could this track do the same.
The Weeknd is at No.3 for another week with âCanât Feel My Faceâ, which is newly certified Platinum in sales, whilst also holding this week at No.4 is former No.1 âAre You With Meâ by Lost Frequencies, and having spent the past two weeks at No.2, Adam Lambert drops back three places to No.5 this week with âGhost Townâ, whilst also earning a Platinum plaque are Galantis with âPeanut Butter Jellyâ, which is down one spot this week to No.6.
Nico & Vinz land their second Top 10 single in Australia this week as their new track âThatâs How You Knowâ featuring Kid Ink and Bebe Rexha jumps up nine places to land at No.7, with their first entry to the ten being âAm I Wrongâ (HP-2x3, peaked June 2014), whilst this new entry to the Top 10 also becomes the second for Kid Ink and now the third for Bebe Rexha. Meghan Trainor and John Legend are back down two places to No.8 with their former No.1 duet âLike Iâm Gonna Lose Youâ and holding at No.9 again this week are Pia Mia with Chris Brown and Tyga on their collaboration âDo it Againâ. Climbing two places to make his first chart entry in Australia now become his first Top 10 hit is Aston Merrygold with âGet Stupidâ.
UP: Vance Joy is back up a couple of places to No.15 with âFire and the Floodâ (HP-14) and after Jessie J and her team sang âFlashlightâ together on The Voice last Sunday night, plus the recent DVD and Blu-Ray release of âPitch Perfect 2â which features the track, this all helps it to jump back up nine spots to No.16. The new Taylor Swift single âWildest Dreamsâ leaps up twenty-five places to land at No.18 this week giving her â1989â album five Top 20 hits now and also climbing into the twenty this week is Sam Feldt with his version of âShow Me Loveâ at No.20. R. City and Adam Levine leap up thirteen places to land at No.22 with âLocked Awayâ and Hardwell with Jason DeRulo are up seventeen places to No.27 with âFollow Meâ, and returning to the fifty at No.49 is former No.2 track âWasnât Expecting Thatâ by Jamie Lawson.
DOWN: Three weeks ago One Direction debuted at the top of the ARIA Singles chart with âDrag Me Downâ (HP-1, WI10-2), which this week is down three places to No.11 and also down two to No.12 is âGood for Youâ (HP-10x2, WI10-2) by Selena Gomez and A$AP Rocky. âShut Up and Danceâ for Walk the Moon is down a couple of spots to No.13 and now 3xPlatinum in sales and also picking a Plat-cert is Silento with âWatch Meâ, down one spot to No.14. Leaving the Top 20 this week are âShineâ for Years & Years, down four to No.23 and dropping six to No.24 is Little Mix with âBlack Magicâ, whilst also falling six are Travie McCoy and Sia with âGoldenâ to No.28. âBad Bloodâ for Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar falls nine spots to No.39 and down eight to No.41 is The Weeknd with âThe Hillsâ whilst falling down ten to No.50 is Conrad Sewell with his former No.1 âStart Againâ.
The first of two new entries within the Top 50 this week is the second single from the forthcoming second album for local rock/pop lads 5 Seconds of Summer, the new track coming in at No.26 is entitled âFly Awayâ, which also entered at No.44 in the UK singles chart this week (today) and follows the recent Top 10 single âSheâs Kinda Hotâ (HP-6, TW-45), with the new album âSounds Good Feels Goodâ due on October 23rd, plus this new entry also becomes the bands eighth Top 30 single in Australia. Back in 2012 The Rubens made it to No.56 with their first and only chart entry âMy Gunâ, and now this week their new single âHoopsâ becomes their first Top 50 entry coming in at No.48 this week, taken from the album of the same name which debuted at No.2 last week.

Calvin Harris lands his first No.1 on the ARIA Singles chart this week as his latest track âHow Deep is Your Loveâ featuring Disciples is up one place to take over the chart summit.
âHow Deep is Your Loveâ becomes the 476th No.1 single for ARIA (1983 to 2015), plus the second this year for the Columbia label after âBillsâ by LunchMoney Lewis hit the top back in March. This new number one becomes Calvinâs first chart-topping single in Australia, as he previously peaked at No.2 with two tracks, âWe Found Loveâ with Rihanna which spent five weeks at two during October and November of 2011 and the following year in October, 2012 he debuted and peaked at No.2 for two weeks with âSweet Nothingâ featuring Florence Welch as guest vocalist. The other thing that Calvin achieves is to become the first Scottish act to reach the top of the Australian charts this century. The last Scottish artists to make it to No.1 here were The Proclaimers in February of 1989 with âIâm Gonna Be (500 Miles)â. So Calvin becomes the eight artist from Scotland to make it to No.1 here, and the third Solo Male artist from former land of The Pitts, plus all previous Scottish acts to hit No.1 here have only done-so the one time.
Jumping up five places to a new peak of No.2 are Nico & Vinz with âThatâs How You Knowâ, which now becomes their second song to reach No.2, as last years âAm I Wrongâ spent three weeks during June at that peak too. The first chart entry for R. City now becomes the duos first Top 10 hit as âLocked Awayâ leaps up seventeen places to No.5, and as the song is sung by Adam Levine from Maroon 5, the song now beats the peak of his last Top 10 entry, as âSugarâ peaked at No.6 for three weeks back in March. Also jumping into the Top 10 is Taylor Swift with âWildest Dreamsâ which is up twelve spots to a new peak of No.6, becoming her fifth consecutive Top 10 hit from her current album â1989â, which is also sitting at No.6, and no other previous Taylor albums has amassed this many Top 10 singles, overall it becomes her twelfth single to make it into the ten within Australia. Galantis drop back one place to No.7 with âPeanut Butter Jellyâ, and the third of four new entries to the Top 10 sees Vance Joy up seven places to No.7 with âFire & the Floodâ which benefits from the song being sung on âThe Voice: Semi Finalâ last Sunday night and now it becomes the acts second Top 10 hit and the song also picks up a Gold sales certification.
Three weeks ago One Direction dropped from 1 to 8 with âDrag Me Downâ, but this week we see Delta Goodrem fall harder from the No.1 nest down to No.9 with âWingsâ which was atop the charts for the previous two weeks and the tumble comes the week of âThe Voice: Grand Finalâ so it could get another boost of wind from this weekends show to keep it soaring within the ten. Debuting at No.10 is Nelly and Jeremih with âThe Fixâ which samples the 1983 single âSexual Healingâ (HP-4, peaked late March) by Marvin Gaye which was his first and last Top 10 single in Australia. Nelly was last within the Top 10 back in 2013 with âHey Porscheâ (HP-5, peaked April 2013) and this new entry now becomes his eleventh Top 10 hit in Australia, plus itâs the first for Jeremih who had previously gone as high as No.12 on the Natalie La Rose track âSomebodyâ back in early May.
UP: All of the Top 20 are songs dropping down this week expect for one, âShow Me Loveâ for Sam Feldt, which rises a place to a new peak of No.19. Hardwell and Jason DeRulo climb up to a new peak of No.26 with âFollow Meâ and after spending the past three weeks in the 31-40 to region, âOmenâ for Disclosure and Sam Smith is up six places to a new peak of No.29, and with the DVD and Blu-Ray release of âFurious 7â, the song âSee You Againâ for Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth is back up four to No.39, whilst returning to the Top 50 after falling out last week is Meg Mac with âNever Beâ at No.50.
DOWN: Adam Lambert is down six places to No.11 with his âGhost Townâ (HP-2x2, WI10-3), Aston Merrygold is down two to No.12 with âGet Stupidâ (HP-10, WI10-1), Pia Mia with Chris Brown and Tyga drop five to No.14 with âDo it Againâ (HP-5, WI10-5) and former No.1 âLike Iâm Gonna Lose Youâ (HP-1x4, WI10-10) for Meghan Trainor and John Legend falls seven to No.15 after ten weeks within the Top 10 and the song is newly certified 2xPlatinum in sales. Selena Gomez and A$AP Rocky are down four to No.16 and Fifth Harmony drop five places to No.22 with âWorth itâ, whilst Robin Schulz also leaves the Top 20, dropping four to No.23 with âHeadlightsâ. The new UK No.1 single this week is âFight Songâ for Rachel Platten, which here is down five to No.35 and falling seven places to No.44 is âLet it Goâ by James Bay and down six to No.46 is Jason DeRulo with âWant to Want Meâ.
Felix Jaehn teams up with Jasmine Thompson and together they blast into the charts and land at No.21 with their rendition of the 1983 single for Chaka Khan, âAinât Nobody (Loves Me Better)â, with the song now having its third Top 50 placing during its life (the other two were covers in 1994). Last weeks UK No.1 single for Jess Glynne entitled âDonât Be So Hard on Yourselfâ leaps into the fifty at No.37 here and landing her eleventh Top 50 chart entry is Jessie J with a song she performed on âThe Voice: Semi Finalâ show last Sunday night entitled âAin't Been Doneâ and is taken from her current album âSweet Talkerâ which bullets back up the albums chart at No.22 this week. The duet between Jarryd James and Julia Stone entitled âRegardlessâ is the final Top 50 entry this week, new at No.48.
