Here in 2015, the only mainstream rock that is out there is electronic rock for the most part and heavy guitars and hard-hitting drums are a thing of the past..that being said, do you think that style will ever surface again? (Bands like: Seether, Linkin Park, Korn, Hoobastank, 3DG, Papa Roach, 3 Doors Down etc.) Personally, I miss the post-grunge/ edgy rock sound that used to dominate the airwaves.

To be quite frank, I am glad it's gone. The music was crap IMO.

the period 87ish thru 94 was terrible IMO...the only music I bought during that time was by established artists whom I liked, I didn't by anything from artists of that period.
the last five or six years have been pretty bad for music also, as its getting harder to sort through the sewerage to find anything worthwhile IMO.
