[h=2]BEASTIE BOYS LYRICS[/h]
"Sabotage"
I can't stand it I know you planned it
I'm gonna set it straight, this watergate
I can't stand rocking when I'm in here
Because your crystal ball ain't so crystal clear
So while you sit back and wonder why
I got this ******* thorn in my side
Oh my God, it's a mirage
I'm tellin' y'all it's sabotage
So listen up 'cause you can't say nothin'
You'll shut me down with a push of your button?
But yo I'm out and I'm gone
I'll tell you now I keep it on and on
'Cause what you see you might not get
And we can bet so don't you get souped yet
You're scheming on a thing that's a mirage
I'm trying to tell you now it's sabotage
Why; our backs are now against the wall
Listen all of y'all it's a sabotage
Listen all of y'all it's a sabotage
Listen all of y'all it's a sabotage
Listen all of y'all it's a sabotage
I can't stand it, I know you planned it
But I'm gonna set it straight this watergate
But I can't stand rockin' when I'm in this place
Because I feel disgrace because you're all in my face
But make no mistakes and switch up my channel
I'm buddy rich when I fly off the handle
What could it be, it's a mirage
You're scheming on a thing - that's sabotage

My favourite song of all time is "Hey, Hey what can i do" - Led Zeppelin. So underrated, for no obvious reasons! Check it out!

I posted my favourite pop/rock song of all time. Learning to Fly by pink floyd. I simply get old songs stuck in my head. It does not necessarily mean they are a favourtite. Just catchy. Today I was thinking about an old song I used to listen to. "Rights Round". You spin me rights round baby like a record baby rights round.

I just seen a funny Geico commercial.. A tough spy type guy is running away from people trying to kill him. His mom calls and tells him there is a squirrel in the attick. The commercial said, If your a mom you call at the worst times, it's what you do. LOL. I was trying to do some really important work and I was interrupted by my wife to do the dishes or change a diaper. I got out of that type of work. Now I have a boring simple job.

[h=2]GUNS N' ROSES LYRICS[/h]
"One In A Million"
1,2,1,2,3,4
[Whistle]
Guess I needed sometime to get away
I needed some piece of mind
Some piece of mind that'll stay
So I thumbed it down to Sixth and L.A. ---
So I thumbed it down to nine o six ten L.A. ("90610")
Maybe a Greyhound could be my way
Police and Niggers, that's right
Get out of my way
Don't need to buy none of your
Gold chains today
I don't need no bracelets
Clamped in front of my back
Just need my ticket; 'til then
Won't you cut me some slack?
You're one in a million
Yeah, that's what you are
You're one in a million, babe
You're a shooting star
Maybe someday we'll see you
Before you make us cry
You know we tried to reach you
But you were much too high
Much too high, much too high,
Much too high, yes, ow!
Immigrants and faggots
They make no sense to me
They come to our country
And think they'll do as they please
Like start some mini Iran,
Or spread some fuckin' disease
They talk so many goddamn ways
It's all Greek to me
Well some say I'm lazy
And others say that's just me
Some say I'm crazy
I guess I'll always be
But it's been such a long time
Since I knew right from wrong
It's all the means to an end, I
I keep it movin' along
You're one in a million
Oo, you're a shooting star
You're one in a million, babe
You know that you are
Maybe someday we'll see you, Oo
oh, Before you make us cry
You know we tried to reach you
But you were much too high
Much too high, Oo, much too high
Yeah,
Much too high, huh, no, no, oh
Ow!
Radicals and Racists
Don't point your finger at me
I'm a small town white boy
Just tryin' to make ends meet
Don't need your religion
Don't watch that much T.V.
Just makin' my livin', baby
Well that's enough for me
You're one in a million
Yeah that's what you are
You're one in a million, babe
You're a shooting star
Maybe someday we'll see you
Before you make us cry
You know we tried to reach you
But you were much too high
Much too high, ow, much too high,
Much too high, much too high
Yeah, yeee, yeah, yeee, igh!
Ow! Much too high
(Oh, much too high, ah,
much too high, ah, much too high
much too high, ow, much too high)

I started this thread in the Chit Chat forum so I could talk about things other than music. I want to write a short story about a former super secret agent that was trained as a cold war spy but ran out of business when the soviet union broke up. The secret agent still has ties to some very intelligent networks that know about problems before they happen. The network has spys willing to die to save innocent lives or prevent world problems. Sometimes this network knows something bad is going to happen but for whatever reason does nothing about it. In this way the network has great power to influence world events even wars. The spies use well known music to talk in codes and remember the elaborate codes they use to talk to each other. The music is a very important part of their world. There are thousands of well known songs they use. But if nothing is happening they do not pull out the songs that mean something is coming. Does anyone sound interested in this type of spy short story? Any advice on how to make it more interesting?

I can see why nobody cares about this type of stuff. The cold war was long ago. I just thought the music as codes was interesting.
