P.S. I just wish that his self named albums released in 1980 and 1981 had been converted to CDs as well as his album named Billy Joe Royal Featuring Hush released in 1967. That's the second time you've used that "God bless you" quote in connection with Billy Joe Royal. What's that about?
I can only think ofone song of his that I know - the one about boondocks. I get him confused with Billy j Kramer.

they called it "education in reverse" here in Australia, but they withdrew it
from the shelves and retitled it "viva hate" like every other country after one
day...
I happened to buy it on the day of release, I believe only a handful were sold
or unaccounted for by the record company.

KING TRUMAN "like a gun"
released on the Acid Jazz label (I guess you'd call it 'house dance music)
King Truman was a pseudonym that The Style Council used to release it
because Paul Weller was pissed off with Polygram/Polydor at the time...
word got around and it was withdrawn from sale a couple of days after its release
because Polygram threatened legal action against Acid Jazz and Paul Weller.
it is believed that only around fifty copies were sold...
I heard it was a Weller disc and ordered it the day it was released,
by time it was recalled in the UK mine was already on a plane somewhere
over Asia!
