I quite liked their Eagles Live album. And 'The Last Resort' is my favourite Eagles track. Very powerful stuff.

Thanks for recognizing Glenn's passing. I'm a huge fan of the Eagles and Jackson. Wasn't a perfect performance as Jackson screwed up the lyrics a little at the end but I'm not complaining. He has sang this song a zillion times (he co-wrote and recorded it). He's just grieving over his lost friend. RIP Glenn.

awesome effortless, perfect performance from Browne/Eagles IMO...

Here's a question for you Linda...
Who would you have chosen to pay tribute to Mr Bowie?
Speaking for my sister (she said it was OK) I would have chosen Adam Lambert and the surviving members of Queen. Adam is singing lead for vocals for Queen now and since David joined them back in the day to record Under Pressure it would be a good fit. And who better to play lead than Brian May. Just saying.

I love The Last Resort. Glenn calls it "Henley's Opus".

Sorry...should have said Glenn CALLED it "Henley's Opus". I still can't imagine Glenn being gone. He was my favorite Eagle and I admired his solo work as well. I took the news of his passing hard. Thankfully my hubby was very understanding. He's the one who broke the news to me.
