Delving into some of my lesser-known Classical discs. This is a live recording from 1951, in Cairo.

Jóhann Jóhannsson - Theme from And In The Endless Pause There Came The Sound Of Bees [NTOV, 2009]
I've gotten into modern classical in the past year. I only know a few composers such as Jóhannsson, Richard Skelton and Max Richter. Can anyone suggest some more?

Julian Bream & John Williams -
Together: The Ultimate Collection
Nearly bought one of their albums ages ago in Winchester. It's taken me 25 years to eventually take the plunge...
This is, without doubt, the best album of Classical Guitar duets I've ever heard.
By coincidence, it is also the only album of Classical Guitar duets I've ever heard.
Spose that also makes it the worst I've heard !?

Schoenberg -
Violin Concerto
Following a recommendation from TRBC08, this is my first foray into 12-Tonalism.
Needs concentration, & is certainly challenging listening, but certainly has its' merits...

Is that any good? I have listened to some Harp concertos on the radio and really enjoyed what I heard. But sadly never got the name of the composer.

I like it lots !!
That's not much of a recommendation, as I seem to love pretty much any music .
Beautiful, Baroque chamber concertos, and the harp is unusual enough to add plenty to listen to.

Orchestra conducted by Wilhelm Furtwangler
There are no bad compositions by Beethoven.
