Ahh, I'm about to spin Alcest's album "Kodama" I have been waiting for it to drop and enjoy the singles from it already. I'm not sure if this band fits well with any subforum here, but since they have some metal influences in their music, I'm mentioning Alcest in this one.
This album is inspired by an animated film from Japan called Princess Mononoke created by the talented director Hayao Miyazaki, which I like a lot. Sort of a concept about mankind's relationship to the sacred and the mundane world which is in conflict. The film explores the exploitation of the environment that humans sometimes commit and the repercussions of that lack of respect for it.

Yes I know Crazy mate! Thanks for the recco! I finally had a chance to listen to them yesterday! It was secluded in my To Listen To List! I agree totally with your and MH's comments on the band!....MD is a fantastic place to hear new music and old albums of the past! Thanks for the share!
Question is......What exactly are they putting in the water in Iceland? Bork, Sigur Ros, Of Monsters and Men and now Kaleo!

It's by far their best song. A progressive black metal masterpiece.

^ Yep, it's a good song. Which Guns N' Roses album is your favorite one?
Now I'm listening to Amorphis - From The Heaven Of My Heart https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dSUxLh3GEUI

their debut "appetite for destruction" followed by the one that contains Civil War, "use your illusion II"....
"use your illusion I" is my least favourite and only just makes the passing grade for me.
my favourite "hard rock" album of all time is AC/DC's "back in black" and Dream Theater's "scenes from a memory"
