no, not scrapbooking as in the paper art thingy, but as in collecting music articles and sticking them in scrapbooks...
does anyone do it:
did you all do it at any point?
I did,
and I still have them...
I have about five scrapbooks filled with newspaper articles in regards to the death of Elvis Presley,
I kept them all from every paper and magazine here in Perth for about five years from the day his death hit the headlines onwards,
my grandparents used to send them to me from the UK newspapers also...
I also collected every article from NME and Melody maker in regards to Paul Weller (The Jam/Style Council) from 1980 through 1989)
I have dozens of scrapbooks wiith printed interviews, reviews of singles/albums/concerts/ all his week by week chart stats from the singles and album charts
here and in the UK, lots of posters of Jam/TSC also....
I also have several scrapbooks from 1980 through 1989 with every top40 chart that was in our Sunday Times over that period and also,
again, sent by my Grandparents/Aunt and uncle with their weekly top20 from their local paper over the same period.
yeh I know, I must have OCD or something, or maybe im a hoarder, but I still haveall my scrapbooks with music info!
