KORN "korn" cd, 1994.
their debut...
not really my style/genre but I got this one...
at least this one was their pre-scream/growl days...
some pretty good tracks on here...
"daddy" is chilling, love the nursery rhyme-esque "shoots and ladders"
which comes complete with bagpipes...
like about half the album and those two tracks mentioned above would push it into the "like"
category for sure...
wouldn't buy another album of theirs as from MH's posts a while ago it seems their albums
became old hat fast and progressively got worse over time...
here's my fave:

that track is what turned me on to the band
never to be equaled
so much emotion
the dude had to be drained after delivering that

yeh, that track is as close to "primal scream-ing" as you could get in a song IMO...

They have a new album coming out, Emperor of Sand. I might check it out. I'm not much of a fan of the band, I think they're a bit overrated and I've only really liked Crack the Skye so far in their discography, which some people are comparing this new album to along with The Hunter.
I think the song is alright.

Mastodon....
I heard an album a few years ago, cant recall the title, I hated it...
gave your linked track a go Ocean, didn't like that neither...
each to their own I guess because I love Dream Theater and no one else here does, so what do I know?

It's cool, musical taste is subjective. I'm fond of Images and Words and Scenes From A Memory by Dream Theater. They're not my favorite band or anything, but they have some decent stuff and are pretty influential for a reason, I think.

Scenes From A Memory is my favourite of theirs, story in the songs would make a great thriller if someone ever made a movie of it IMO
