For me it was way back in 1969 :Sugar Sugar by The Archies
Nice to be able to go back to trust and friendship!!!!!!!!!
It's a mixed up sensation this being alive
Oh! it wears a man down into the ground
It's the strangest elation
I can't describe it
Oh it leaves a man weary
It makes a man frown..............................Chris Simpson ( "Mixed Up Sensations" 1975 Martin's Cafe )

Sundown by Gordon Lightfoot.
Actually, my mommy bought it for me. It was the first record I asked for that wasn't a kids' record.

The first one that I remember buying is "Thank God For You" from country band Sawyer Brown in 1993. I was only eleven years old then.
God bless you and every member of the awesome act always!!!
