OTTMAR LIEBERT & LUNA NEGRA "the hours between night & day" cd, 1993:
Ottmar, German born classical guitarist...
Luna Negra, not a person but his backing band (it had me fooled LOL!)…
perform a mix of New Age, Classical, Flamenco sounds...
so lots of the above on this instrumental album...
I find Flamenco/Spanish music uplifting, positive and relaxing all at the same time...
quality musicianship from a classy artist.
superb live clip that im sure Ruby and Jerome would appreciate
I listened CH. And I went and listened to a few more of his tracks because I like Spanish guitar very much. Maybe I prefer new flamenco to traditional flamenco, but anyway - I must say that I wasn't all that taken with him. I don't get any magic - there's something missing. Millions disagree with me, apparently, so I am probably just being mean. Lol! I find so much more substance in Juan Martin's work (couple of posts above this).

Strangly millions prefer their music without any ‘magic’. The popularity of recent Mahler symphony performances bleached of all drama is one example.

Looks like I’ll be playing this in an empty room. Not to worry. . . . .

How the hell to I get video clips to appear in the body of a post and not as a link?

What do you mean by an empty room?

When told I was the only poster on this forum with an interest in classical pipe organ I imagined I’d be the only one listening to my own posts.
Not to worry, I can get into blues, jazz, some rock, ethnic ( especially Indian classical),and some country & western. This last has only appealed to me in my old age. I have no idea why although there’s a kind of Australian country & western I can’t stand and some of the early blue grass just leaves me cold.
Punk to me was a good joke that should only have been told once and rap, despite often having brilliant lyrics is all just so much the same it bores me stupid.
Sometimes I’ll post clips that are more about what I’m watching rather than what I’m listening to such as :-
