BLUE ÖYSTER CULT ~ The Symbol Remains
Looks like 70-something is the new 40? A bunch of septuagenarians now, BOC is back, complete with plenty of cowbell, and they are rockin’ hard – tempted to use a much cruder turn of phrase, but will resist!

Loads of bash crash - unadulterated driving rock – something about it makes me smile and there's nothing like a good loud album to blast away the cobwebs! On the other hand, one hour and one minute of it might be just a smidge too much - could’ve done with a strategic pruning IMHO.
It’s classic BOC, not a lot more to say. I’m not enough of an afficionado to know whether any of these are rehashes, which I expect they might be; some songs are better than others, some are filler and some are a bit nasty (not in a good way) – found the second half tiring, aside from the last track. I latched onto four in particular. These are they …

This was released as a single – “Tainted Blood” – the obligatory vampire ballad …

“Fight” … cowbell deluxe …

me too...
i did ask one of Dani's daughters if she had heard of "cowbell", she said she had, she knew exactly what the different meanings were,
she laughed at me saying "im half your age and know more than you about sex LOL."
i used to say "i wish i could go back to when i was 20 and know now what i didnt know then about females and sex",
now my step-daughter has educated me i think i'd still be as unknowledgable if i could go back LOL
