Another all-nighter trying to develop the piece further. Sometimes you struggle for ideas and other days the notes just fall out of your fingers straight away without even trying. Strange how that happens. Anyway 2nd movement is coming along nicely and the third has arrived as well. Will spend some time over the next few days fleshing it all out but right now it's 5:30 am and I need some shut-eye after vodka and cornflakes for breakfast!

I was looking over the stats of which countries had logged onto my site this month so far and up pops Macau. The most densely populated area in the world and a gambling industry seven times the size of Las Vegas. You learn something everyday.

Yes some of the most obscure places pop up. From Israel to India. I don't think these visitors are actually listening to the music. I think they just stumble across the site by accident. Most of them probably arrived via Music Discussion! Still, it's interesting to see who's looking at it. Or listening to it. Got my first visit from Japan as well.

speaking of strange and obscure places...
ive met two people over the last couple of weeks or so from places i never thought i ever would....Peru and Bhutan,
both of whom were astonishingly interesting to say the least.

Both places I would love to see - especially Bhutan. The only country in the world that measures success by using a 'happiness index'. People are asked to vote on how happy they are instead of how much money they make or how economically powerful they are. There's a lesson for the West! And although you can can smoke your own cigarettes in the country, once they run out you cannot buy any more! They aren't sold in Bhutan.

Right the latest project in it's current state. Not a whole lot of new material but a reworking of the existing parts with some subtle changes. Have most of the album completed but some sections need to be tidied up or maybe even abandoned in favour of new ideas. Not too sure about that just yet. Time will tell. It always does. Hard to believe it's been 6 years since I finished the last one. Anyway this one will be done this year if I am still around to see it through.

i keep going back to your homepage Jerome and looking at the image.
i think i like the new images even better than the old one (with the lightglobe and dude diving in it).
the new one isnt as intense with images within images.
i find the eyes (presumably of a female) absolutely hypnotic and the whole image has an air of mystery around it.
has the music disappeared from the website as there appears nowhere to go to other than homepage???

There's no music on the page at the moment as I am busy trying to close off the third project but it's not behaving lately and I am pretty busy with work anyway. The eyes remind me of a woman I worked with many moons ago. She had that hypnotic look that you just could not ignore. I'll say no more on that one! The cluster of islands at the bottom is a picture I took from an apartment in Babin Kuk, Croatia when I was there on holiday. The Dalmatian Coast has a rare unspoilt beauty about it - much like the woman previously mentioned. Just changed the colour of the photo to blend in with the woman at the top. Trying to keep it very simple. And striking. Probably not going to change this one. Took me a long time to come up with this particular composite. Hopefully it also creates a sense of mystery and will entice the viewer to have a go at listening to the music, when I post it. When I stand back and look at it, it kind of reminds me of a movie poster??!!??
