Happy Easter to one and all...
although it is a time for socializing and eating yummy chocolate lets remember those around the world
who are not so fortunate at the moment with all that is going on around them.
furthermore,
spare a thought for the real meaning of what Easter symbolizes as you share with family and friends at this time.

Happy Easter to those who observe. Bit of a hooha going on here because one of our biggest sporting events, the Two Oceans Marathon, which is traditionally run on a Saturday, has been split over two days due to Covid regs (pfffft!) and the Sunday route interferes with a clutch of churches in the valley - road closures, etc., making access difficult on what to some is probably the most important day of the year. Not very well thought out by the event organisers! Of course, there are those that argue that in our secular world, not everyone's special religious days can be taken into account on every occasion, however, the consensus appears to be that in future, this race will not be run over the Easter weekend, and that tomorrow, marshals will ensure that those wanting to get to the churches will be able to do so, which seems to have mollified the various parties. One less conflict! Phew!
