Happy Birthday to Chris Norman who I can’t believe nobody’s mentioned here before, myself included. Sheesh! Born on this day in 1950 in North Yorkshire, he is the husky-voiced lead singer of Smokie, of course. Not a whole lot more needs to be said!
And since it registered that it was his birthday, I’ve had this earworm which I feel obliged to share … (no – not that one, without which most parties for people of a certain era would be without an anchor) … https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0AbvnTgGH8s ...
