They did do quite well with the previous effort. Not sure which one of those metal types they fit into. Grunge to me, but they've all been so watered down, I give up trying to keep up. You guys can do it. Some of that scream stuff we either love or hate, but not that much. They've probably mellowed out over a few albums. Does tend to disturb the throat I would think. The first single off here of I Will Not Bow is getting heavy airplay. It is featured in the film Surrogates and the clip here is the band interspersed with clips from the film. Follow up single of Give Me A Sign is due out this month. Title track was the best for me. Am listenin' to John Lennon's beautiful song 'Jealous Guy'. Back then, songs were simply country or rock........too many genres nowadays IMHO.

No standout tracks for me, with the best being a Captain Beefheart cover, who makes an appearance on the album. With 9 of the rest being original material, pretty sad when the best track is a cover. Best known for the stage antics of singer Fee Waybill, their peak was short lived as they disbanded in 1985, only to reform of course. But the flame had been snuffed out by then. This album reached a whopping #122 on the U.S. charts. Some of the albums tracks have been strung together for some reason. Tracks 1 & 2 are in the same clip, as are tracks 3 & 4, tracks 5 & 6, tracks 7 & 8 and tracks 9 & 10.
