BUFFALO SPRINGFIELD "last time around"
their third and final studio album...
inner conflict between Stephen Stills and Neil Young was the main reason these guys split...
and even though they occasionally work together, Stills and Young still have an icy relationship.
the band reformed a couple or years ago for an NY charity event...

I have a couple of Cake's albums...I like the music contained within, but I don't like most of the lyrics, I just don't get 'get it', and I have a sarcastic/ out there sense of hunour.

Re Cake, I think they tackle complacency and herd mentality - kind of like a new take on beat poetry. I like their sounds for my 'alternative' moments.

CH - Jerome posted this Eagles album just before my Cake, so yours is a repeat. I'm taking the liberty of throwing another one into the mix. Seem to have inherited it somewhere along the line - it's rather obscure ....

debut album by these Aussie Grunge guys....
from memory they were only sixteen when this was released...
the Aussie music media dubbed them "nirvana in pyjama's"...
that name is a play on words from an Aussie kids show entitled "bananas in pyjamas"...lmao.
