Music debates is an amazing idea to get people to share their views and comment... so I did it!
Starting with the first debate: CD or streaming? By which I mean, how would you prefer to listen to your music?
Now, I think streaming is better. It's quick and easy compared to going out to buy a whole CD, and you can find nearly every song somewhere. CDs also cost money, while you can stream your favorites for free—even if you're a fan of 50s music or someone who likes the hot new releases of the 2020s. Streaming also tracks what you listen to and gives you statistics or recommendations based on your music taste. I can't really think of something a CD has that streaming doesn't ?.
Let's debate! (Keep this friendly, please—no bloodbaths are needed over a music opinion.)

i only stream new release albums upon release.
if i like what i hear i purchase a physical copy on either vinyl or compact disk
streaming all your music does not help artists as the pittance they earn is not worth it (unless you are a Taylor Swift or Ed Sheeran) where you will get hundreds of millions of streams, even then they are not earning what they rightfully deserve
streaming is great for fans, like you said, "you can stream your favorites for free" but detrimental to the careers of the musicians.
streaming is just a one dimensional sound of cluttered sound, at least vinyl and cds have dimension and feel through the right system
as a footnote, i have never downloaded a single song from the internet, nor have i purchased a copy of anything from a streaming provider.

I do agree that CDs support the artist a lot more. Despite a CD being a one-time purchase (which does equate to a lot), I wouldn’t say it’s super detrimental to the artist (unless they have no other source of income). If you want to support your favorite artists, then buying a CD is a great way to do so, but it doesn’t necessarily make CDs better overall.

maybe not 'super detrimental' but detrimental nonetheless
an artist cannot tour 12 months of the year (unless they are like Taylor Swift) and unless they are capable of selling out large venues (20,000 seat) then their income will not be much more than the average person on the street once they factor in travel, hotels, venue bookings etc etc.
a lot of major artists including Gene Simmons, Paul Weller, Dave Grohl and Neil Young to name a few all say that streaming is killing the music industry and young artists have no incentive to keep going because the money is not there for them
and that is the whole reason why physical music is better than digital streams
we are just going to have to agree to disagree on this subject, period.

I agree that streaming is less beneficial to the artist than CDs, but either way, streaming still adds to overall income. You wouldn’t want to buy something you haven’t heard properly, and it also drains the pockets of people who have less money.
Either way, even if we disagree, I think we can agree that streaming is better (not considering the artist’s income), simply because of how easy it is and what it can add up to.

^^^ They are about the same, but the good thing about CDs is that they are something that singers can sign for you should you get to meet them.
God bless you always!!!
