An easily disposable mor rock album except for Chip Taylor is the writer of two classics from the era. Wild Thing by the Troggs and Angel Of The Morning by Merilee Rush. Teaming up with Al Gorgoni and Trade Martin, neither of which I know of no other claim to fame, this is their only work as a team. Nothing really good on here, but not terrible. Sort of a CSN with bad harmonies. This probably sold at least a few hundred copies, and of course there are no clips available.
I LIKE THIS ALBUM
Worst Track - Got The Feeling Something Got Away
Best Track - Dirty Matthew
1) Carolina Timer - **
2) Country Song - **
3) I Can't Do It For You - *
4) Stick-A-Lee - *
5) Sweet Dream Woman - **
6) Cisco - **
7) To Know The Girl - **
8) Love Was Not A Word - **
9) Dirty Matthew - ***
10) Got The Feeling Something Got Away - *
11) Baby - **
Rating - 1.8

The last track on the CD is billed as amystery band who were influenced by the tracks available on Pebbles................On the CD there is no clue to who it is , however on the latest posting on AIP records web site they have revealed that the band could be Echo .........Hence its rather strange inclusion on the first volume
Nice to be able to go back to trust and friendship!!!!!!!!!
It's a mixed up sensation this being alive
Oh! it wears a man down into the ground
It's the strangest elation
I can't describe it
Oh it leaves a man weary
It makes a man frown..............................Chris Simpson ( "Mixed Up Sensations" 1975 Martin's Cafe )

Steppenwolf 7. Steppenwolf were such an excellent band in that they had this distinct, signature ability to groove heavy while offering intelligent, subversive and thought provoking social commentary. The album 7 (oddly enough their 5th album) is an amazing collection of seasoned and well honed Steppenwolf talent in song craft. I don't believe this particular album has ever been officially remastered since it's 1989 release on CD so I took that upon myself.
Mm mm..Good!

Yeah, that the jam there. I really like 4 or 5 tunes on that album.
You gotta love Earschplittenloudenboomer. Sounds like a theme from the old swinging 70s show, "The Dating Game"
