^ I've just re-read all three of your FA reviews from last year.
Wouldn't say I'm a huge fan, but I do find her Jazzy approach interesting.

The guys been performing in bands or solo since age 13, and this is his sixth solo effort. Fronted punkish D Generation for 8 years back in the 90's. The U.K. picked up on his talent long before the U.S. With only one track I couldn't get into, this came out rather good for me. Never heard the guy before, but he's on my list now. As expected, there are no clips for my favorite tracks. The clips that are there, other than the video, are good video but terrible audio. What's a poor boy to do? First album met with moderate success, and now it's on to the majors (Hollywood label), for the sophomore effort. A few good tracks and one I loved which overall just makes the passing mark, with a 1.7. No consistent lineup over the years as members seem to come and go from various solo projects and other bands. At one point band members were up to 11. From the live clips, looks like the current lineup is 9, and still may be a case of too many indians and not enough chiefs. Recently started getting into some Jason Collet which I liked. He was prominent on previous albums, but is not present here. The band has been getting critical acclaim and cracked the U.S. charts with the last release. This is nothing like Jason Colletts which I was expecting. In fact It was hard to find anything I liked here, but settled on two good tracks out of the 14. Not a good ratio. Looks like three shes and a he. Hey, that would be a cool name. First album came out in 2007 with moderate success in the U.K. Time for the follow up, hoping to break in the states. Not too shabby, with no really bad tracks, and one really good. Like the female vocals, but not sure who it is, maybe trading off. Comes across with a punkish feel, but still leans pop, and a splash of techno/dance. Not the music, but his voice. I'm sure it's unintended, and he's probably sick of the comparisons. The first time I heard them (last album), I could have swore that's who it was. Of course once you see vocalist Craig Finn, the comparisons go out the window, as he bears absolutely no resemblance to Bruce in physical appearance. The guy looks like a geek. Wide critical acclaim has brought the New York band to their fifth album, and once again I set my expectations too high. Although a decent album, with quite a few good tracks, only one really grabbed me, and I was expecting more. Excellent lyrics, which keep you intrigued, but I think the music buries them. It wouldn't surprise me to see these guys break big at some point. I LIKE THIS ALBUM Worst Track - The Smidge Best Track - A Slight Discomfort I thought you're through with all the bougie guys. Don't you wonder about the other side? They only get invited because they think that they might buy. Ain't it sad about those metro guys? Don't it hurt to watch them moisturize? Been around since 1993 and this is the first I have heard. May have heard something in passing on the local college station but didn't know who it was. Although the breakthrough album in the U.K. would be the next one after this, this one did it for me. If it wasn't the music that grabbed me, it was the lyrics. If not the lyrics, the phrasing. At times, all coming together. Unbelievable this guy has yet to make a mark in the states. Once again proving why I have been a fan of the England music scene since the 60's. Well, except for the House stuff which it seems they'll never come out of. This album just makes my love ranking, meaning another one I have to explore. I'll never catch up. One other note. First few listens I couldn't peg who this voice reminded me of. I finally nailed it. And so does he. Early Leo Sayer, spot on. Not after he fell into that disco craze.
