A nice light album aimed at the pop market, good instrumentation, inventiveness and lyrical talent , make his album stand out. There is theatre and drama about this performance along with pizzazz and a whole lot more !
Track One Schizophrenia: A nice happy starting track, happy and light, catchy and entertaining. Good use of instrumentation and an unusual approach to the vocals. A bit new romantic?
Track Two Half Crazy: A kick start to this one , good quality pop music with aright eel and a running rhythmâ¦â¦â¦..This band remind me of The Boo Radleys a little, in places
Track Three Empire : Gentle approach here : a word or two about lyrics : this band can write about a variety of subjects with depth and sincerity. They can maintain and build on the interest captured early on in the track.
Track Four Summer Sun: I love the piano start to this reminds me of âWillowâ by Paul McCartney , These guys impress me with their song writing ability, they really can craft a song well, they know how a song should be structured , how to lift and drop the emotions on the stroll through the melody and how to blends sounds harmoniously
.
Track Five Mistletoe: Well itâs early for a Christmas song, but this could be a contender! Itâs broader than a simple Christmas ditty and has the ability to stand without its seasonal attire if necessary
Track Six The Sun: The start captures quickly your mind and
pulls you in
. There is a nice classical chord progression used in the background, but for one this track shows that they do not produce winners every timeâ¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦itâs not bad but, itâs a bit too much of a cliché for me!
Track Seven So Let Us Create: And they did. A piano based reflective song, delicate but strong. There is some kind of new age influence in this band, especially in the piano work.
Track Eight Carrying : An up tempo song, with a good arrangement, happy lyrics and strident beat â¦.I liked this one lots. This had something of a Queen feel to it, I could feel Freddy Mercury there somehow!
Track Nine The Sun ( Interlude ): A lovely little instrumental full of the character of its title !
Track Ten The Stars: Majestic start with plenty of energy and focus. Great track made me really glow !
Track Eleven The Popular Thing: Another slice of pop; Lively and interesting. Good catchy tune!
Track Twelve Nobody: Last track and Iâm sorry. I liked what I heard here: this is a strong finale, dramatic , emotional and showbizzy .
Songwriters with talent and a good feel for melody. I liked this album lots! There is, bags of talent here!:happy:
