Glad you like the land of windmills and clogs!.. WE are very lucky in that we have a tremendous heritage of painters .....................Where I live we are but minutes away from the home of Van Eijk and our local museum has some of the most fantastic artwork of theirs that you could ever wish for.................It is interesting that you say that everything works here, The Dutch are fanatical social people and take a great pride in maintaining and servicing everything that is in a public place...........thus it is a pleasure to live in the land as so much effort is put into keeping the place tidy and looking nice
Nice to be able to go back to trust and friendship!!!!!!!!!
It's a mixed up sensation this being alive
Oh! it wears a man down into the ground
It's the strangest elation
I can't describe it
Oh it leaves a man weary
It makes a man frown..............................Chris Simpson ( "Mixed Up Sensations" 1975 Martin's Cafe )

I was in Utrecht as well. Went to an old church and saw the names of some of the early settlers that went to SA carved in stone on the floor. Great place. I actually did not partake of the wacky-baccy. Back in SA the stuff is growing wild everywhere.

the easiest way to describe my job is to say i sell theatre tickets
there is alot more to it than that but really thats the basic, I was going to be a lawyer but changed my mind just before getting my licence to practice

Hi Kerry, have you returned from your latest round of Obama-stalking, or is that still in the pipeline ??
