Even if you don't like these tracks I strongly suggest you listen to the other tracks off this album - quite amazing. I was having a dinner at a small cafe with a lady friend in Cape Town. We were sitting outside and this came on the sound system. Everyone just stopped whatever they were doing and just listened. A mesmerising moment. Will never forget it. Awesome stuff. Or maybe it was the drinks!!!

That's some great music, man. You should listen to the guy I mentioned if you haven't already. His name is Waldemar Bastos and he's from Angola. He's got this really eerie, beautiful music.

I like listening to Irish language songs - mostly hymns, my favourite is Ag Criost an Siol ( Christ is my Shield ). Feeds my spirit somehow , even if I don't believe in god.

And there is always Edith Piaf , which I understand more of than the Irish ( to my shame ) .

Edith is cool. There's a song by Elton John about her called 'Cage the Songbird' - great track.
