I think we've possibly done this before, but...
We all love music, or we wouldn't be here, but I was thinking last night about how I'd define music. It's a bit like love, easy to know when you experience it, but not so easy to define.
To me it can consist of sound, rhythm, melody, harmony and all the rest, but the real beauty of music is the expression of some sort of idea or emotion wrapped up in a creative outburst.
It all shares a common language which we know as individuals to a greater or lesser extent, but different music means different things to each and every one of us. Infinite meanings, interpretations, and associations exist, so in that sense it's no different to any other artform, but music seems to have a unique universal appeal to mankind.
