Bend Me Shape Me was a hit here by a group called American Breed
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOjpR6t-VAs
your link/version is better than the AC version, also, checked my Aussie Chart Bible. American Breed version made it to #25 here but spent 40wks in chart.
both versions appear to have been released around the same time, so not sure who copied who???

Fleetwood Mac singer's solo debut offering from 1981.
With SN's voice being so associated with the Fleetwood Mac sound of the time, it's inevitable that this sounds much like her work with the band.
Solid AOR songs with typically strong vocal performances from Nicks. Fairly lightweight, but still a good listen.
AllMusic 4+/5 stars.

THE GASLIGHT ANTHEM "american slang" 2010,cd. #16 US, #18 UK, #14 AU.
some people call Gaslight 'punk' others 'alternative', but to me they are 'classic rock', much in the same vein as their Jersey predecessor Bruce Springsteen.
guess they could be called "heartland rock" also.
their songs are very much working class anthems with a simple hard edged rock sound, even the vocalists vocals have that raw edge of the Boss at his best, but instead of being total Boss clones they have made three very good albums, which cant be done simply by copying him.
the album is short, sharp and concise clocking in at only 35 minutes, but i'd much rather an album with 10 really good tracks than include another half dozen fillers to stretch the length out to a full 70 minutes
i saw them live at a festival about 12 months ago and they are a much better outfit live than on disc, unfortunately though it was either them or Dylan/Costello the other month and i chose to see the latter.
do yourself a favour and get this one if you havent got it already...you wont be dissapointed, i guarentee it 100%

from my library (vinyl)
Seventh album from the legend. Had this contained more originals, I would expect a better showing. With only three of his own songs here, I love two of them. The title track and the hit I Am, I Said. I do love the cover of Roger Millers' Husbands And Wives also. Probably the best song Roger ever wrote. I never did care for that Crunchy Granola thing. Rates down among his worst compositions for me. Neil did pick some good songs to cover here, but other than Millers none equal the originals. Neils voice was at it's prime though, covers included, making this a really good album. The album made it to #11 on the Billboard chart, with I Am, I Said at #4.
I LIKE THIS ALBUM
Worst Song - Crunchy Granola Suite
Best Song - I Am, I Said
LA's fine, sunshine most of the time
The feeling is laid back
Palm trees grow and the rents are low
But you know I keep thinking about
Making my way back
Well, I'm New York City born and raised
But nowadays, I'm lost between two shores
LA's fine, but it ain't home
New York's home but it ain't mine no more
I am, I said
To no one there
And no one heard at all
Not even the chair
I am, I cried
I am, said I
And I am lost, and I can't even say why
Leavin' me lonely still
Did you ever read about a frog who dreamed of being a king
And then became one
Well, except for the names and a few other changes
If you talk about me, the story's the same one
But I got an emptiness deep inside
And I've tried but it won't let me go
And I'm not a man who likes to swear
But I've never cared for the sound of being alone
I am, I said
To no one there
And no one heard at all
Not even the chair
I am, I cried
I am, said I
And I am lost, and I can't even say why
I am, I said
I am, I cried
I am...
