And Crazy Cow - you have it nailed. You can 'see' the characters he creates, One of the prerequisites for good writing. Music or books.

![]() Another entry into the blandness of the soft rock genre. Adam Mitchell only shows this one album to his credit and there may be a good reason for that. Nobody bought it. I know that's not necessarily a bad thing, but in this case, if the shoe fits. Can't believe there wasn't some connections here to get this released. Considering the guest backing vocals of Valerie Carter, Jennifer Warnes and Linda Ronstadt, and production by Ted Templeman. Can't recall others but I remember some Doobie Brothers/Ted Nugent to his credit. Anyway most of this never gets close for me. Socal rock at it's best I guess. I do like the last track on here quite a bit, Out Among The Stars, at least there is some depth to the lyrics. I see where it was covered by both Waylon Jennings and Merle Haggard. I DO NOT LIKE THIS ALBUM Worst Track - Redhead In Trouble Best Track - Out Among The Stars 1) Fool For Love - * audio - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VZCKOe3k4w 2) Higher Ground - * 3) Doctor Doctor - ** 4) Clear Light - * 5) The French Waltz - ** 6) Dancin' Round And Round - ** 7) Don't Let Papa Know - * 8) Redhead In Trouble - * 9) Out Among The Stars - *** 3's - 1 2's - 3 1's - 5 Grade - 1.6

![]() My second CCR purchase. Their third from 1969. Slightly darker songs than on the preceding Bayou Country, but musically the same rootsy, Bluesy R&R. Fine music, if on the short side at 29 minutes. Lazy... AllMusic 5/5 stars.

as you guys know i recently purchased the boxset with all seven studio albums included, and IMO CCR did not make a bad album, infact without sitting down and rating them on the "MH Scale" i could confidently say theyd all rate between 2.2 and 2.8

Today I am going all the way back to Rick Wakeman's ' Journey to the Centre of the Earth'. For me a timeless classic.
