I just finished watching and listening to six videos by Opeth and I have posted them on The Track I'm Listening To.
I am not ashamed to tell you that the experience nearly brought me to tears !..closest thing I'll get to a live concert by Opeth.
Have you had an experience similar with the music you love ?

Older Peter Gabriel solo has been pretty powerful stuff for me - Solsbury Hill, San Jacinto, Biko, Family Snapshot (especially the instrumental version on Birdy Soundtrack)
Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here - definite tear jerker
Carl Orff's - Carmina Burana - especially good and loud

I was hesitant in posting this as I thought everyone would avoid it...and think I was a little sookie baby !!!...lol
I knew that it applied to everyone as music moves us in many many ways,,that's why we're here together at MD !!!!
The power of music ...also I broke down when I did see McCartney live two years ago...especially during A Day in a Life and Yesterday !!!!!...a lot of tears of joy were shed that night !!!!!

Too many to mention but I feel that music is a communication of emotions and is also a soundtrack to your life !
