Rock For Light-Bad Brains

The reggae here is rubbish, but the punk is great. Not quite as fast as the debut, but are any other records?

LIVE "awake-the best of" 2004,cd. from Dani's collection

I LIKE THIS ALBUM!

heard this best of set earlier today courtesy of Dani's collection,
never really heard enough of these guys before to pass judgement on them so i was keen to hear their singles album....out of 19 tracks there were four i didnt like, another three i absolutely loves and twelve that were pretty good.
i guess the only thing that concerns me about Live is that most of the tracks are decidedly similar to eachother either in the music sence or ocasionally in the lyrical sense, overall though, not a bad album rating 2.0 for me, thus had Dani and i not been together and i had heard this one elsewhere then i would have no hesitation in putting this on my purchase list, the album is good enough for me to at least look at their studio albums at some future date.

Bondage Fruit-Bondage Fruit

A modern zehul album. For those unfamiliar with zehul, it's style of progressive rock that is heavily influenced by avant-garde music. It's generally characterized by the musicians chanting reptitivly over the music. It was started by the band Magma, who I highlt recommend you listen to btw. This is a very good example of the genre, even if it a bit more tame than a lot of the genre

It's going to be a day of old Coldplay albums until I can find somewhere to hear the new one.
