Decided to write an article on songs and the sampling used by them from earlier recordings, found a lot of the info really interesting considering many sampled tracks were so different from the ones who sampled them. Lemme know if u know of any other cool sample examples.

This is an interesting point .................who samples who?
Or perhaps the issue is...................who can spot what has been borrowed or sampled. I think there are not many new ideas in music and many of them have already been used. I am surprised when I sit with knowledgeable people many things that you think are original are borrowed or rearranged or based on these old chords.....................So I think it boils down to what can people actually identify...................................:biggrin1::nod:
Nice to be able to go back to trust and friendship!!!!!!!!!
It's a mixed up sensation this being alive
Oh! it wears a man down into the ground
It's the strangest elation
I can't describe it
Oh it leaves a man weary
It makes a man frown..............................Chris Simpson ( "Mixed Up Sensations" 1975 Martin's Cafe )
