Dani and I went to see Corey today to spend our vouchers...well, not all of it, still have enough left for six or so albums...
so far we purchased on cd:
ROLLING STONES "beggers banquet"
ROGER WATERS "the solo years vol 1-the best of"
MODEST MOUSE "good news for people who love bad news"
JIM[B]MY BUFFETT[/B] "buffett hotel"
LEONARD COHEN "songs of Leonard Cohen"
BLACK EYED PEAS "monkey business"
SWEET "greatest hits"
SLADE "greatest hits"
MIKE OLDFIELD "tubular bells"
OUTCAST "the love below"
EARTH WIND & FIRE "the essential"
LED ZEPPLIN "IV" or "symbols"...whatever you want to call it!
ROXY MUSIC "avalon"
WILLIE NELSON "5cd set-original albums" including:
"the troublemaker","to leftie from willie", "stardust","willie sings kristofferson", "tougher than leather"
AREOSMITH "pump"
METALICA "black album"
COLD CHISEL "cold chisel's last stand" DVD
also got GOOD CHARLOTTE "cardiology" and SELENA GOMEZ cd's for Dani's daughters.
saved around $75 with Corey's discounts for us!
not many new ones here, just replacing mostly vinyl and/or ones we wanted but never got!
either way, some good listening ahead over the next few months...
and by the way...Mike Oldfield and Led Zepplin were my choices!!!!

Earth Wind & Fire is the one we are interested in the most as we only really know several of their singles, so should get a bit better insight into these funky-soul brothers...2cds/34 tracks, and good value at $10 IMO!
only ones we decided on, on the list but not in stock were the couple of Elvis Costello/Nick Cave i havent got and Eagles "best of" set....maybe next time?

Just a recommendation for you and Dani, Tower of Power's Anniversary live album is a great r n' b funk album with the soul brothers vein !!!!
Theye were very popular in the early seventies and hail from the San Francisco/Oakland area and still going strong ! couldnt find Tower Of Power at Corey's today SteveO...will endeavour to find it at amazon/cd-wow.com in the near future...

Dani and I completed our xmas voucher purchasing spree today and ended up getting:
james blunt back to bedlam
the eagles greatest hits volume II
nick cave tender prey
modest mouse we were dead before the ship even sank
zz top greatest hits
marilyn manson mechanical animals
bruce springsteen the wild,the innocent & the e-street shuffle
aloe blacc good things
note:
damn!, now im going to be subjected to the whinings of James Blunt and the crappy bollocks of The Eagles!
finally got the last Nick Cave for my collection of his studio albums.
also, now only have a couple of Boss albums to get after i picked up this one.
ZZ Top...dont own any so i thought i needed to get something by these guys who i have always overlooked previously.
another Modest Mouse album after hearing these guys in Kentucky under an Oak tree in July!
also, heard/saw Aloe Blacc on MTV over the last few weeks...love the soulful sounds he makes so i got his new cd.
so now xmas is over i/we going to have to purchase all other cd purchases for the rest of the year....!

don't have it, but listened to my son-in-laws when I was last down there (Florida)
had written it off without hearing it. That was a mistake.
