...just sort of getting into a bit of classical now, wouldnt say i like it completely though, i have all of Macca's classical/operatic outings from Family Way onwards, and a couple of other classical albums also.

Classical and Jazz used to not be my thing...i listen to them all the time when i study now. The lack of lyrics and the focus on music makes it a somewhat relaxing

What I used to find annoying was the Beatles. I used to what I could to dice them until I heard the song LET IT BE. This song made me figure out the importance of the Beatles. I enjoy the music of The Beatles now.

The lack of lyrics and the focus on music makes it a somewhat relaxing When you have music with lyrics, the lyrics dictate your response - i.e. you react to the 'direction' you are given. With instrumental music you are free to use your imagination. That's what appeals to me about instrumental music.

I used to hate <gasp> Elvis Presley. It was a bad association thing though. My Dad used to wake me up early every Sunday morning blasting Elvis and telling me to get my a$$ out of bed lol It took a long time for me to get over my association of Elvis and not getting to sleep in.
