I liked Rodger's 'Eye of the Storm' (or something like that) solo album. This morning I am listening to Yes - Fly From Here (again). Really getting into this album. It just sits right with me??!!??

Roger's brother is Tom...
Tom said he was the more gifted musician of the family but was not in the right place at the right time, thus he never made it.
his parents were all "roger this, roger that" apparently?, thus he moved to Australia to live a "hippy" lifestyle(self sufficient,living off the land,veggie gardens etc etc).
Tom depised his family for ignoring him and heaping all the praise on the "less gifted" brother, but was happy Roger "made it".
he had all the Supertramp albums and Roger's solo stuff.

look, not sure, got the impression there was a bit of jealousy there....but he seemed to be a nice guy overall!

Nice choice, Jerome, one of the great live albums with very good sound quality! I had the pleasure of seeing Supertramp in the Seventies here on more than one occasion !

I envy you - the one band I would loved to have seen live. The critics hated ST but as the saying goes - you can't keeep a good band down...

They were excellent live, Jerome ! and they had a great video show ,,,,the Bars and Hands in space for Crime of the Century..they had a sound all of their own !

Gaudi - Alan Parsons Project - about Catalan architect Antonio Gaudi and his unfinished masterpiece, the 'La Sagrada Familia' cathedral. The original timetable to complete this cathedral was set at over 400 years. Some good tracks and some mediocre ones.

The only 'Tramp album I have never heard. 'Brother Where You Bound' has some interesting stuff on it as well. And one of the later ones, 'Slow Motion' has some good moments too. There is another live album called 'Is Everyone Listening' - sounds like it was recorded a long time ago and it really pales in comparison to Paris.

Wow ! ..thanks for this Jerome !!!..you've made my Sunday an enjoyable one indeed my friend..beautiful and powerful music throughout the entire 23 minutes ! Intersting that Benoit David ( CANADIAN, eh !) sounds very close to Jon Anderson so as not to detract from the YES sound ! Brilliant piece of work !
