Not a bad hair band. Meaningful decipherable lyrics stand out. Forget what their big hit was, but it's not on this album. You head bangers will know. Only thing I remember from here is Unskinny Bop. Aw come on, thats meaningful. A couple of throw away instrumentals that come in at under 2 minutes. Decided to disregard this stuff if its under a minute, but if you waste my time for more than a minute, you get penalized. Only other track I don't like is the closer, Poor Boy Blues. Favorite is the song of despair, Something To Believe In. I guess this album was pretty big, hitting #2 on the chart, and going triple platinum. Singles Unskinny Bop reached #3 and Something To Believe In #4. Didn't realize they were that big till I did this. That's what makes this fun. Anyway, pretty decent album and the only one I have I think. Makes me want to have some of them curly locks. They'd be gray though. Hey, shut up, at least I have some. I LIKE THIS ALBUM Worst Track - Strange Days Of Uncle Jack Best Track - Something To Believe In Well I see him on the TV Preachin' 'bout the promise lands He tells me believe in Jesus Steals the money from my hands Some say he was a good man Lord I think he sinned, yeah Twenty-two years of mental tears Cries a suicidal Vietnam vet Who fought a losing war on a foreign shore To find his country didn't want him back Their bullets took his best friend in Saigon Our lawyers took his wife and kids, no regrets In a time I don't remember In a war he can't forget He cried "Forgive me for what I've done there Cause I never meant the things I did" And give me something to believe in If there's a Lord above And give me something to believe in Oh, Lord arise My best friend died a lonely man In some Palm Springs hotel room I got the call last Christmas Eve And they told me the news I tried all night not to break down and cry As the tears rolled down my face I felt so cold and empty Like a lost soul out of place And the mirror, mirror on the wall Sees my smile it fades again And give me something to believe in If there's a Lord above And give me something to believe in Oh, Lord arise Sometimes I wish to God I didn't know now The things I didn't know then Road you gotta take me home I drive by the homeless sleeping on a cold dark street Like bodies in an open grave Underneath the broken old neon sign That used to read JESUS SAVES A mile away live the rich folks And I see how they're living it up While the poor they eat from hand to mouth The rich drinkin' from a golden cup And it just makes me wonder Why so many lose, and so few win And give me something to believe in If there's a Lord above And give me something to believe in Oh, Lord arise You take the high road And I'll take the low road Yes Sometimes I wish I didn't know now The things I didn't know then And give me something to believe in, yeah 1) Strange Days Of Uncle Jack * audio - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbyFMhAlCFk 2) Valley Of Lost Souls ** audio - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-myiQRFaN0 3) (Flesh & Blood) Sacrifice ** video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMbGgnCWfuc&ob=av2e 4) Swampjuice (Soul-O) * audio - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xp-R8DohjdU 5) Unskinny Bop ** video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xk5y4wvsLyY&ob=av2e 6) Let It Play ** live - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Kz_gFdMF58 7) Life Goes On ** live - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wA452WYvo-M 8) Come Hell Or High Water ** audio - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uk3Oy1yieHY 9) Ride The Wind ** video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juhBVAnLkHk&ob=av2e 10) Don't Give Up An Inch ** audio - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xib-S5gwumU 11) Something To Believe In *** video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5uamDMoW4o&ob=av2e 12) Ball And Chain ** audio - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTfRKwNsX2w 13) Life Loves A Tragedy ** audio - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZCJXIB1Hc0 14) Poor Boy Blues * live - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=do5VbhSjMZw 3's - 1 2's - 10 1's - 3 Grade - 1.9 so many albums, so little time

One of my branch out attempts after discovering some Ministry I liked. Maybe I was possessed. I can handle the music. The vocals suck. Undecipherable on most tracks. I don't like anything that sounds like I think Satan would sound. I generally shy away from Satan. This is the Canadian groups seventh album so maybe I was a bit late to try and climb on board. Had they already burnt out? I sure did after this. I still listen to stuff that is totally out of character for me. Difference is I no longer purchase it. You can do that in the age of the internet. Back in the day you had two options, borrow it or buy it. Nobody I knew was strange enough to have any Skinny Puppy. Two singles were released from here, Tormentor and Spasmolytic. Neither charted nor did the album. Maybe in Canada but not here. The albu was critically acclaimed, but who knows what the critics were on. Nothing here for me, but it was a tormenting kind of fun. Now, where's my Donny Osmond album. I DO NOT LIKE THIS ALBUM Worst Track - All Best Track - None 1) Convulsion * audio - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEDgnYuZkRg 2) Tormentor * audio - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksgbS4J8gcA 3) Spasmolytic * video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSv09h6__v8 4) Rash Reflection * video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0wBbm4bmuc 5) Nature's Revenge * audio - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWniFouJDpw 6) Shore Lined Poison * video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RG4q331n8M 7) Grave Wisdom * audio - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hR6WzIzYmFk 8) T.F.W.O. * audio - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WprVzlwP-GY 9) Morpheus Laughing * audio - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpvSv4p-180 10) Reclamation * audio - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9tuU_HDlNY 3's - 0 2's - 0 1's - 10 Grade - 1.0 so many albums, so little time

I know Skinny Puppy has a cult following of sorts. I listened to Perpetual Intercourse album once and it didn't stick with me.

eh, Skinny Puppy are a bit bland and uninteresting to me. I'd rather go with some of the early industrial bands like Nurse with a Wound or Einstruzende Neubaten
