Just for the record, not that it matters anyway, but I am not at all religious. Where do you think all the murder and bloodshed comes from in the first place? Answer - Indoctrination.

From the web -
20-year old Adam Lanza was fond of playing super-violent, highly realistic video games. Before the shootings, he removed the hard drive in his home computer and broke it into pieces. Forensic experts are now analyzing the pieces to try to learn what they can and determine who, if anyone, Lanza communicated with before the massacre.

i played a game some twenty years ago, was most probably a N-64 console back then...the game "turok:rage wars", it turned my stomach to see all the blood, guts, death squeals and graphic gore, im sure games nowadays on systems with superior graphics would be even more grahpic in their content...

these games,IMO, dull the sensory pathways in the brain to accept that death and mutilation is "ok", and the fact that so-called enemies you have to kill in these games sometimes 'come back' give people the wrong concept that its okay to kill because its only temporary...they'll come back.

it is also a well established fact that people who play these games on a regular basis are generally more aggressive in their 'real lives'. also, another interesting fact is that almost all of the mass murderers have been bought up on a diet of intensely graphic movies, games, music(death metal) and violent pornography...

these games and movies are a sad excuse for entertainment.

ooops!, almost forgot...my eldest step-son and son used to play a game(cant recall the name of it) whereby the idea was to run down people whilst driving a high performance vehicle, WTF is that all about?, because it certainly isnt entertainment.

I don't know guys what to say! The USA has 300 million people governed by a democracy.

That means a free society and the second amendment gives the society the right to bear arms.

I abhore violence but how can we stop it REALISTICALLY?
The ultimate connection is between a performer and its' audience!

my thread is dead, plz change it's Title and remove me as thread starter.
I just wanted help, thx a lot for nothing.

And think i really really hit the wrong spot to post and ask, cuse it seems you are all of the old generation.
Yes some people gets there head screw'd around and ends up doing bad becuse of the media, but dont put everygamer in the same boat.
Its like saying black ppl are dangerous and murders, simply rasicm.
iv played game since i was 2 years old, iv played lots and lots of killling games, battlefield, planetside, Gta serie, where you can drive ppl down, and aim for headshots.
And you wont find a more calm, non agressiv, diplomatic, gentel man than I am.
I dont mix games with reality, and even though i kill players ingame, theres no way i take a humans life lightly in the real world.
Id never said you where religios, what i said was that you could spened your time trying to make strong religious ppl accepting that others dont have to belive the same as they do.
If you managed that you would truly be progressing towards peace.
