Greg Brown- Hyms to what is Left

A friend of mine introduced me to Greg Brown not too long ago and boy am I glad he did. I am in the midst of making my way through his new album now and so far I am thoroughly enjoying it. It's like Bob Dylan, Lou Reed, Leonard Cohen, and some random country stringer on the street had a child.

Scott Walker's(Walker Brothers) Bish Bosch album is getting rave reviews...it's number one for 2012 on AllMusic's list!...a must hear for me sometime!

I wanted to know what the hype was about. I am currently listening to the Scott Walker album. There are some things I love about it, the creepy factor. it is dark, twisted and just plain weird. However, I don't get it. His voice is driving me absolutely crazy. It is almost too weird. I think I may prefer for it to be strictly instrumental. because the music is wonderful.
