Retrospectacle - Supertramp. This band is either loved or loathed. I belong to the former camp. If there is one concert I would have liked to have seen it would have to be Supertramp's 'Paris' album.

J, I saw them 3 times at their peak but not the Paris Concert!...lol...and what a fantastic live album that is eh? The sound quality is top notch!...do they doctor it up in the studio for a better sound quality or pretty much leave it alone?

![]() Weekly pull from the old cd stack. Still on Dylan, up to his 24th album. Once Again, one classic track here with Brownsville Girl. Two tracks not worthy of being Dylan tracks. Only eight tracks in total here leaving five for the ok mark. Probably my second favorite track here, They Killed Him, I had forgotten it was written by Kris Kristofferson. Seems like that song could have been built on lyrically. As for the classic track, it doesn't get any better Dylan for me than that one. Eleven minutes and I still don't want it to end. Co-written with Sam Shepard. Would be interesting to hear how that collaboration came about, and what part Mr. Shepard atually played. There are only two songs on this album that are Dylan originals and one of those gets a do not like grade. Panned by most of the critics on it's release, the album reached #53 in the states, #35 in the UK and #27 in the land down under. Not one clip is available on youtube for this album. I LIKE THIS ALBUM Worst Track - Maybe Someday Best Track - Brownsville Girl 1) You Wanna Ramble ** 2) They Killed Him ** 3) Driftin' Too Far From Shore ** 4) Precious Memories ** 5) Maybe Someday * 6) Brownsville Girl *** 7) Got My Mind Made Up * 8) Under Your Spell ** Grade - 1.9 allmusic - 1.2 SteveO Wrote:J, I saw them 3 times at their peak but not the Paris Concert!...lol...and what a fantastic live album that is eh? One of the disappointments of my life is not seeing them live. There probably is a bit of doctoring in the studio, but who cares. It a cracker of an album. Not a single bad track. Incidentally so is Retrospectacle. Great value for money. BIA was their big payday but COTC is their artistic zenith.
