AUSTRALIANS bought Pink albums and Guy and Psy singles according to 2012's biggest-selling music charts.

ARIA's No.1 album of last year in Australia was Pink's The Truth About Love.
The album has sold over 350,000 copies and has never fallen below No.3 since its release in September.
The rest of 2012's Top 5 biggest sellers were all released in 2011.
Boy band One Direction had the year's second highest seller with Up All Night - also registering at No.8 for 2012 with their follow up Take Me Home.
Adele's 21, which was Australia's most popular album of 2011, was the third biggest seller of 2012 as well.
Her album is weeks away from crossing the magic mark of one million copies sold in Australia.
Michael Buble's Christmas was the fourth most popular album of 2012 - it was the No.2 album in 2011.

Rounding out the Top 5 is UK singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran and his debut album +.
Voice winner Karise Eden's covers album was the highest-selling Australian release of the year, ahead of Guy Sebastian's Armageddon at No.9.
Taylor Swift's Red at No.7 and Birdy's self-titled album completed the Top 10 sellers of last year.
Canadian Carly Rae Jepsen had the biggest-selling single of 2012 with her infectious No.1 Call Me Maybe.
The song went eight times platinum in Australia, marking sales of over 560,000 copies.
In a neck and neck race for the No.2 song of 2012, novelty star Psy's Gangnam Style just pipped Guy Sebastian's anthem Battle Scars.
Both songs went seven times platinum in Australia last year, selling close to 500,000 copies each.
US rapper Flo Rida scored the fourth and fifth highest selling singles last year, with the explicit Whistle at No.4 and Wild Ones at No.5, featuring Adelaide singer Sia.
The unavoidable Flo Rida had four singles among the year's Top 100 sellers; Justin Bieber, Rihanna, One Direction and Maroon 5 placed three singles in the year end chart each.
Dancers turned singers Justice Crew were the other Australian act in the Top 10 - their No.1 Boom Boom the seventh highest seller of 2012.
Nicki Minaj's Starships was No.6, Birdy's Skinny Love was No.8 and two recent No.1 hits - Macklemore's Thrift Shop and Swedish House Mafia's Don't You Worry Child - round out the Top 10 singles of 2012.
Only 11 Australian acts featured in the Top 100 singles of the year, including Matt Corby, 360, Timomatic, Delta Goodrem and Samantha Jade.
A total of 27 Australian albums featured in the Top 100 sellers of last year including Hilltop Hoods at No.13, The Sapphires soundtrack at No.15, 360 at No.17, Keith Urban at No.19, Missy Higgins at No.22 and The Temper Trap at No.33.
Delta Goodrem's comeback album Child of the Universe was the 46th highest seller of 2012, with X Factor winner Samantha Jade's rush-released album at No.59 after just three weeks of sales.
Several acts scored two albums in the Top 100 including One Direction, Reece Mastin, Adele, Bruno Mars, the Bee Gees, Rihanna, Foo Fighters, Pink, David Guetta, Lady Antebellum, Mumford and Sons, Cold Chisel and Florence and the Machine.
Gotye and Kimbra's Somebody That I Used to Know, which was the No.2 single in Australia in 2011, made No.40 on the 2012 end of year chart.
