What Are You Listening To?

NOT DROWNING,WAVING "cold & the crackle" cd,1987.

third album by this Aussie classically trained duo from Melbourne....
wasnt sure whether to put this one in 'world' as thats what they call these guys, but then, theres a few piano based instrumentals on here also(slight classical feel) with guitar as accompanyment...
then theres some real alt songs also and acoustic trakcs....a real mix of styles to say the least. a couple of the instrumentals have bongo's as the main instrument also, which is generally not an instrument i hear in music as much as i probably should do!....hell, i even like some of these instrumental tracks and even love one of them(track 11)...first thing i thought of when listening to this was:got a feeling Jerome might like some of this stuff, then again, he might not LOL!
sorry for the lack of links guys, especially for the favourite track and brilliant instrumental!!!!!

THE TERRIBLE TWOS "if you ever see an owl" cd,2007.

one of those i picked up for $2 in corey's discount bin....
guess i wasted $2 there on that occasion....
i really should have known as no self respecting band would call themselves that name and even worse more alarm bells should have been ringing once i looked at the song titles on the back of the jewel case....
this is exactly what it is i guess....aimed at two year olds, this really makes The wiggles and Sesame Street look like Stephen Hawking...
dumbass songs about not eating vegies(pizza and chocolate milk), addition ("oneandoneistwo), household chores (a rake,a mop,a broom,a shovel)....my God, the bloody list goes on forfifteen tracks of pure crap...only five here even sound remotely like 'real' songs, but still dont get a passing grade, so we have a perfect score of 1.0 for this one, abysmal, abysmal record here that makes Aqua appear like Sgt Peppers....

sorry guys, i know you all want to check out the links for these tracks, but alas there are none!!!!....darn shame IMO

The minute I saw the cover I was intrigued. Thx for the tip. Will definitely investigate. What's a plog? (track 3)

GHOSTS "the world is outside" cd,2007.

UK indie-pop group...
this is their debut album as recommended to me by Tem, its pretty laid back listening stuff, just an average album IMO, but then again Tem does like Radiohead and Portishead, two bands that i dislike, so i guess this was an improvement for him LOL...
as i said, 'average' album and i would not have bought this had it not been recommended to me...
