yes indeed! I also like this album!!! I have seen this album cover on countless occasions but never heard the album until now! Definite McCartney influence! I wonder whatever happened to such a talented artist?

Strawbs - Hero and Heroine - some great moments on this album. Love that 'Autumn' section.

After posting Sky's 'Sky2' album in the 'association' game on this forum, I decided to dig it out and have a listen - forgotten just how good this is - marvellous album and impeccable musicianship. Just plain awesome!

from my library (cd)
Keith Emerson is probably my favorite prog rock keyboardist after Rick Wakeman. After leaving
the Nice, Keith hooked up with Greg Lake of King Crimson. Adding Carl Palmer of Atomic Rooster,
a prog rock band was formed. This is the bands fourth studio album and the only one I own on
cd. I have the first three on vinyl. They had achieved enought clout by this time to form their
own label. Some collaboration in the writing here with Peter Sinfield, another King Crimson
member. Didn't know the title of this album was taken from a Dr. John song. See, I'm always
learning stuff. Only five tracks listed on my copy of this, with the last one being split into
three parts. That's how I graded it. The album hit #11 in the US and #2 in the UK.

Oooooh, now that's a favourite of mine when I want to listen to something that's completely off the wall. Probably the most striking album cover design as well. Designed by one Mr Geiger (Did some famous sci-fi movie sets as well - can't remember which).
By the way MH - their 'Black Moon' album is fantastic and incorporates all their best elements without being too 'out there'.
'The purpose of life is a life of purpose' - Athena Orchard.
But I listening to ZONO's music. New song.
Maradona ( Clubvegas999 )
