Had a listen to this. It's pleasant enough but to me it just sounds the same as all the other singer/songwriter stuff coming out at the moment. It all just plods along but nothing captures the imagination. Sorry, but anyone can write this sort of stuff. Nothing stands out. It's all very pedestrian. None of the players add any spark to their performances. They're just going through the motions. Where's the creativity? Inject some life into it.

Add an accordian with a strong but minimalist hook line. Listen to the impact a simple accordian has on Bob Dylan's 'Beyond Here Lies Nothing'. Amazing what a well placed riff can do.

Forgot to mention we also used in the video 300 shotgun shells, 30 white rose's, £2000 in notes, 200 syringes, 40 glass bottles, 200 cigarettes, 20 clocks & 1 Tv

Depeche Mode used to use weird stuff like that to create sound/music on their "construction time again" album from the mid 1980s except they used to record the sounds of rendom objects then synthesise them...quite ingenius stuff if you ask me!
