i think you nailed it Jerome...he does play effortlessly, and he never overdoes it neither, ust doing what he has to without going overboard...and he looks like he feels every note he plays...!
again, thanks for the heads up Jerome, awesome stuff

JACKSON BROWNE - RUNNING ON EMPTY ...LIVE ALBUM 1977
[SIZE=2]I have been meaning to revisit this superb live album for awhile and yesterday I did ! This is one of my beloved live recordings from a brilliant song writer and musician. Jackson is in top flight on this album of ten songs. His mega hit - Doctor My Eyes - came later. The backup band is very good also. I didn't know exactly where to put Jackson ...folk, rock ,,,it ended up here,,very few real FOLK albums out there today!..most of them have rock overtones.
* I llistened to Jake Bugg and Jackson may have influenced him ?

ROLLING STONES "emotional rescue" cd.
i own this on vinyl from back in the day, but recently upgraded to the cd version...
i used to love this album, but the score will show i only like it now????...
anyway...The Stones go disco on us here, and it does work IMO...but you can still hear the trademark riffs to know it is The Stones
not a big fan of these guys, always thought their albums were patchy at best, but this one and the follow up album "tattoo you"(which i still love) are my favourites by them...
is a tough call between my favourite track and the hit single "emotional rescue", i choes the other one in case someone wants to listen to a Stoens track they may not have heard
still a good album after all these years IMO,well obviously otherwise i wouldnt have upgraded....it may be only rock and roll, but i like it,like it, yes i do!
