SteveO, - no I have not. I am just talking about this particular video clip. I watched it twice but I can't see the attraction. I have to admit I don't like the expletives - can do without those but I suppose they are now acceptable in the mainsteam but I just don't like it. As for the music, there is not really a whole lot going on. I don't know what his other tracks/albums are like - I am only commenting on this one. In fact, I don't know any of his work at all so maybe I am missing something or speaking out of turn??!!??

Stagger Lee is on Cave's brilliant album - Murder Ballads! The intent of this thread was not necessarily to focus on the music only! I want to show the Ultimate Experience between the audience and the artist primarily IMHO that's the prime connection between the listener and the artist! I love to see the reaction of the artist and audience, whether it be misty eyes, utter euphoria or singing along to the song!!!! One example is the live performance of a symphony orchestra versus a recording...the live concert is far better than the recorded one!!!!

Concerts are where the money is now! Most artists will make most of their money in concerts not CD or digital sales! If I had the financial ability , that's where I would be listening to my music ...on the road at concerts! That's why I also watch a lot of You Tube and DVDs (and a fair share of CD listening) ...next best thing to the gig! Of course all ipod listening is non visual...I listen to audio on music streams and when I am outside it's all ipod! We all know that today's music for the most part is just "the flavour of the month" ...here today and forgotten tomorrow!

Incredible!!!!! That's what I'm talking about! The Killers and their fans together!!! The Royal Albert Hall is a great place for concerts, only holds about 5,000 so it must be very ideal from a listening and viewing standpoint! Thanks for this one, Music pal!
