I'm from columbus, ohio and kanye west was suppose to come and perform but he didnt. My question to you "Would you pay to see a local artist?" At least he would show up even if theres only 25 people and he would do the damn thang. Thats why I started Buckeye City Radio, intended to get more exposure for local artist. How do you feel about that? Good or bad move?

Welcome aboard MD, Buckeye! I think you are on the right track here! I know in Canada and in my local area there is a tremendous amount of talent! I would pay to see a local artist and support them. I listen to local and Canadian music and for the most part it is every bit as good as most of the junk that is released by signed artists!
The ultimate connection is between a performer and its' audience!

Pickiness can be quite the plague. :T
Probably wouldn't pay to see them until I'd heard their music and grew a liking to it.
I'm one of those warm-up-to-an-artist-over-time kind of people, but that's just me.
A spotlight station for up-and-comers is awesome, though. Grats on bringing that together.
