i love the three other tracks inbetween the two parts of Shine On You Crazy Diamond, like bits of each Shine On, but not the full tracks,
album still gets a pretty high passing grade from me though, and im not a big fan:
i actually prefer listening to that one over DSOTM(overrated) and Animals(which is abysmal IMO)...
The Division Bell is still my favourite PF album even though its primarily a Gilmour album:
i own:
DSOTM..........like it
Animals.........hate it
WYWH...........like it
The Wall........love it
Final Cut........very average
Division Bell...love it

Roger Waters' solo stuff...
i have three albums...find them patchy...some great moments but some WTF moments on them also
i fing him to be trying to be too clever for his own good most of the time and the images in his head just dont
turn out int he audio realm very well or very clear neither!

Dug out Styx's 'Cornerstone' album - some great tracks and some crap ones - a real mixed bag.

I agree - unique voice - and no autotune/autopitch/autotempo/autoemotion either.

Been listening to a lot of The Who lately. The original rock 'n roll 'wild child' band. Entwistle's bass playing was beyond brilliant. While the other three were throwing their toys out of the cot he just kept the whole thing moving along. Amazing talent.

I really like this. Prog rock tied into the story of Ernest Shackelton.
