What Are You Listening To?
CSS - Cansei de Ser Sexy

Alternative Post-Punk-Disco from Brazil...

Ween - Chocolate & Cheese

Ween are always eclectic, & usually very good.

...and quite funny...

The Cure - The Cure

Used to be a big Cure fan, and whilst this is still good, I think they're well past their prime.

makes me wonder- maroon 5

Sonic Youth - Rather Ripped

Fine '06 album with the band continuing to restrain their guitars-as-weapons tendencies, but still sounding powerful & creative.

Bauhaus - In The Flat Field

One of the formative "Goth" albums. Sounds a little dated, but the music's still interesting...

Patrick Wolf - The Batchelor

Doesn't disappoint!

I haven't listened to it yet - I'm going to see them in October but I'm sure I'll get around to listening to it before then.

I must admit I haven't enjoyed the last couple of albums much at all - Dookie is the only Green Day I really listen to anymore - but I'm glad you're enjoying the new album anyway.

Jason Lytle - Yours Truly, The Commuter

This is a Grandaddy album in all but personnel...

Lytle's multi-tracked whisper vocals, and his usual melancholy, introspective lyrics are intact. Lush keyboards & understated guitars provide the customary, groovy accompaniment

A well written album that more than satisfies...
