[CRAZY-HORSE]

....because i find myself delving more into country music over the last year or so and avoiding things that are heavier like AC/DC,Kiss etc?????

or am i going forewards by looking backwards?

[Jerome]

Careful now - you might start listening to the Eagles too!

[Music Head]

[CRAZY-HORSE]

....not till Hell Freezes Over i hope LOL

Here's an album of Eagles covers you might actually like--some serious Bluegrass pickers having at it: http://www.allmusic.com/album/pickin-on-...0000024213
This is part of a pretty good series on which I may comment later. But on-topic: I've been joining you lately in rediscovering early Country and later hard Country (Tulsa, Bakersfield, etc.). Current stuff is way too pop-polluted for me--"feelings out, money in" is the mantra.

Yes indeed too much commercialism! Most people will download or buy the flavour of the day and then move on to the next one!
