Music Head Wrote:great reviews on both of those mate
so glad you guys enjoyed them
so who was the lead vocalist for the Hollies?

Peter Howarth...
previously worked with The Who,Cliff Richard,10CC.
has written musicals for London's West End and
played Roy Orbison in a stage show(anyone who can play Roy has got to be able to sing!)

Tony Hicks still sang all the tracks he originally did also

NEIL FINN @ Perth Concert Hall,Perth West Australia

Dani and myself just got back from the Neil Finn concert...

Neil covered his vast back catalogue performing tracks from split enz, crowded house, pajama club and his solo career...
obviously with a new album just released Neil did focus on that "dizzy heights" set...
his voice is still pitch perfect, he is still able to hold his notes without faultering.
one song, the crowded house signature tune "dont dream its over" was stripped right back to a piano only accompanyment. that one lacked a bit of something IMO.
the rest of the tracks were a stock standard affair of hits and solo songs.
the show ended with one of my favourite track of his in the beautiful acoustic track "better be home soon"
all up, another good performance from Neil Finn, and as usual, he never disapoints me live in concert.

from me: 7/10
from Dani: not sure yet.

if you guys get a chance to see not only Neil Finn but also Springsteen i recommend you take it up,buy the tickets and have a night out with money well spent!

Last year I was to a concert of the Babysitters Circus here in the Netherlands. I was very happy with it. It was not so far from my home. That morning I was already nervous. It was a great evening which I never shall forget. I was standing in the front and I had made many pictures. Lots of pictures were moved. Jason came in the public and he stood right before me. He waved at me while I made a picture. It was moved. I didn't like that. They played my favorite twice. After the concert I went to Selwyn en asked for signatures. He asked at the other members and I have them all. Except from Tim, he wasn't here. That was a replacement (Josh). I got from him their album and i was very happy with it. Jaimy and Jason had placed signatures on it. And I went on the picture with Josh alone and also with Jason and Josh. I want to show the pictures here, but I don't know where to do it. Can I place also all the moved pictures?

[SIZE=2]From the opening familiar siren intro to War Pigs to the final chord of Paranoid, I will never forget this concert! I cannot believe I have seen this seminal hard rock metal band in the flesh! I must admit to a few soppy tears during this performance! That happens when an old guy sees his idols LIVE! Such a surreal feeling!

Tony Iommi's guitar playing is phenomenal! Geezer holds the band together with his pounding bass and does a solo during the concert! Tommy Culfetos stunned the crowd with a display of tremendous drumming in a ten minute solo. Ozzy commands the audience to a frenzy. He is quite the showman! His vocals are not what they used to be but he's still got it! He's not singing opera here!...lol

The first track from their first album, Black Sabbath, tore the house down along with War Pigs, Iron Man, God is Dead?,(rhetorical question by the way),

and the encore addition of the infamous blistering Paranoid.

Ozzy, Tony, Geezer and Tommy Culfetos (replaced Bill Ward) on tour, we're at the top of their game! Getting back to God is Dead ?, the song is from their latest studio album 13. They did two other songs from the album...the album is excellent!

All in all a great performance. I am sure the 10,000 fans went home very pleased indeed! I know I did! My ears are numb today but hey it was worth it!

Check out the drum solo and a few clips from last night! The videos are amateuristic but it gives you a sense of the concert vibe!
