Help me recognize this man (singer ???)

Could someone help with this? I'm sure it's a famous person but I just can't find in my memory the corect name for this individual.

Looks like the drummer Cozy Powell to me.

Thanks for your response. You could be right, but one thing that doesn't seem to fit is nose or maybe it's just photo angle.
I forgot to mention that I'm looking for someone who's dead, so apart from the nose detail maybe it's Cozy Powell.

Actually SteveO I personally think EvilB is the one who knows his stuff. Been watching his responses to the artist/album association thing plus MH's quiz. He's a mine of information. The man must have a massive collection of music. Or an exceptional memory.
