#1
Just wanted to see / share peoples favourite artwork...

This can be official album artwork or unofficial artwork by independent artists who create - (Posters/Canvas/Limited Prints/ or anything interesting and out of the ordinary)

Either way please share [Image: icon_lol.gif][Image: icon_smile.gif]

I was in London last weekend for record store day and over the weekend popped up to Greenwich and a friend introduced me to the Flood Gallery.

This shop was amazing, had loads of bespoke artwork and limited unique screen prints!

This was The Beatles (record day exclusive) t-shirt i ended up buying [Image: icon_biggrin.gif]

I also love the artist prints/gig posters they have:

If you know of any other artists or shops who are similar or do this sort of thing please share! The flood gallery has re-opened my appreciation for art [Image: icon_smile.gif]

Anyway, thought it may be interesting for some

My friend who is a huge fan of Metal and all the art work(culture/fashion) that comes with it, brought this book.

Even though its not my cup of tea, i can appreciate the artwork because the graphic design work put in to is pretty flawless..

What do you guys think?

Definitely is a bit dark gothic but the shading and details is on point... HD artwork for y'all !!!! Wink

Very interesting Site brought to us. After seeing the specifics linked above, go to the Home page. Unlike many other galleries I've seen they are not all about the bizarre, the obscene, the shock value material.

Glad you also appreciate the work the FG produce.

I was really amazed and thankful that i just stumbled across this gallery on record store day the other week in Greenwich. Spent a good few hours in the shop, trying to resist not buying everything i liked....:hand:  The staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly which always bodes well, whist shopping..

I try to keep an eye on their site every now and again but this new Neil Young piece grabbed my attention.

I think i just love the album and this artwork definitely adds more colour to the art in itself.

Quote:Neil Young's 'Harvest' was not only Young's best-selling album but one of the biggest albums the year of its release in 1972. He spontaneously recorded the album as he travelled from Nashville to London to his own California ranch. The album has a more pastoral sound due to Young's medical condition at the time.

This was pinched from their site; - http://www.thefloodgallery.com/products/...ng-harvest

Surely a few others have some interesting links to share??

This event sums up the Flood Gallery's quality and looks like it's going be a pretty cool... This ones for all Led Zep fans, but check out the list of artists who will be appearing.

I have passed these details on to a number of people who all seem very keen to go down for the event, I think its most likely going to be a busy one Smile
