I'm listening to one of the best new Melodic Death Metal songs I've heard. Kalmah is definitely my favourite band of their style of Melodic Death Metal (similar to Norther, Children of Bodom etc.) The video's also pretty good too.

Thanks, I'll be sure to keep on posting, since this site has recently become probably one of my favourite music forums to visit. Some other songs by Kalmah you should check out if you like that are "The Groan of Wind," "Hades," "They Will Return," and "The Blind Leader."
I'm currently listening to a band that sounds quite a bit like Agalloch, but in my opinion is actually quite a bit better than them. Their name is Gallowbraid, and I'm listening to the title track from their debut EP Ashen Eidolon.

You're welcome. That's my favourite song by them, but the song Stone of Remembrance is also very good too.
I'm currently listening to my favourite Canadian Metal band, Catuvolcus. On this song there's actually a guest vocals appearance from the main member of Gallowbraid, near the end of the song. Also, if you didn't know, the main guy behind Gallowbraid is also in a pretty good Power Metal band called Visigoth.
The uploading quality of the youtube video for the song isn't great, but you can find a better version of this song and the rest of the album on the bandcamp website if you don't like how raw it is on youtube. (though the song is generally raw, just not this raw.)
